Judith Glover

Judith Glover is a multi-disciplinary, contemporary artist whose practice moves between painting and illustration. A deep appreciation of nature since childhood has led to an enduring love of horticulture so plants and flowers often feature as does the human face and form. Current themes are memory, a sense of place and the passage of time.

Judith studied at Dartington College in Devon and gained an Honours degree in Graphic Design from Hornsey College of Art. Following this she worked in the publishing industry in London, both as art director and freelance illustrator. She is published under license in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Now based in Suffolk she works from her garden studio and exhibits locally. She was recently selected for the 2023 Royal Watercolour Society Open Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery in London and for the Colchester Art Society Spring Exhibition. She is also a member of Artworks East, Suffolk Open Studios, Cornard Portrait Group, Sudbury Art Collective and the Colchester Art Society.
